LOL, I've also noted that since I started blogging, and can read about people growing tomatoes in much warmer climates, I'm sort of that annoying "parent" who compares my "offspring" to others. ! :) (My winter-sown tomatoes are still quite small; not because they're winter-sown but because we've had a cool and overcast spring here in SE Michigan.)

I had a frost June 10 and I ran the wood stove at night into the beginning of July. Nothing but cold and rain and tiny half drowned tomato plants.
